The economy isn’t doing so hot. Prices on some things (such as food and goods) are up, while prices on other things (houses, stock, investments) are down. These numbers cause real pain and worry for the average guy. Overall, the economy is sick, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. How can we be free from the anxiety connected to the turbulence of the stock market and the economy?
God has given us over 800 scriptures about money, showing us how to handle our finances His way. The Bible has a lot of interesting things to say about money, debt and personal finance. To explore these issues and learn how to best handle our finances, we’ll begin a new prgram called Financial Peace University at the Bridge Church. This program will cover important items such as retirement, investing, saving, budgeting, and shrewed spending. You will learn everything you need to know to survive the current economic crisis facing the world.
