Counseling
We believe an authentic church should strive to meet individual emotional and spiritual needs through relationships with others in community. After all, this is the way that Christ brought healing to thousands. It is our prayer that Bridge Church will meet you where you are, will connect with you, and begin to minister to you as a family through friendly relationships. You can develop these friendships with others through Life Groups, various fellowship gatherings, and other connection opportunities, and most hurts and spiritual needs can be met with healing care through these friendships over good cup of coffee. However, when additional care and counseling is required, our pastoral care ministry exists to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of Bridge attendees in unique and challenging life circumstances as they experience grief, anger, depression, or addiction. We partner together with the Association of Biblical Counselors to provide counseling and pastoral care for those unique challenges.
Some common areas of emotional and spiritual need that may require special counsel include:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Anger
- Guilt & Forgiveness
- Conflict & Relationships
- Abuse & Neglect
- Grief
- Family & Parenting Issues
- Divorce Recovery
- Addictions
- Crises & Trauma
If you need counseling please don’t hesitate to talk to one of the Elders at the Bridge Church, or feel free to give us a call to schedule a time to chat.
