Visiting the Bridge
Welcome to the Bridge. We’re glad you’re interested in visiting our church. You’ll find that we preach the transformational gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire in all that we do is to have an authentic and meaningful relationship with God, and to bring glory to Him in all that we do. We hope you join us at our weekend service and more importantly, that you’ll choose to make the Bridge your home church. You’ll learn we’re not perfect; but fortunately, we’ve been saved by the One Who is.
1. Relaxed
You will quickly notice that the Bridge is very laid back. We are an easy going group of people. None of us takes ourselves too seriously, and our goal is for you to feel relaxed too.
2. Worship
Our worship is usually accompanied by a small band. There are no performers on stage, just people wanting to engage the heart of God. Our musical style is somewhat eclectic. We sing modern worship songs, traditional songs with new arrangements, and modern-day hymns.
3. Message
After a time of music, Pastor Joshua will speak from the Bible. Joshua has a unique way of taking the truth of Scripture and relating it to life today. We primarily go through books of the Bible (not all in one day of course). From time to time, we will focus on a topic. However, that topic will be addressed within the context of Scripture.
Feel free to take notes during the message. You may even want to write down some questions that you need cleared up. If you don’t have a Bible, don’t worry. We have Bibles available for you to use.
4. Offering
We typically do not pass an offering plate around. We do, however, have a basket that is intended for regular attenders to place their offerings in.
5. Connection Card
You should’ve been given a worship bulletin upon entering the theatre. Inside this bulletin you will find a connection card. Please fill this out and drop it in the offering basket.
We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM at 1393 9th Avenue. (Note: There is a for sale sign outside of our building. Please don’t let that deter you. We still gather in that location on a weekly basis.)
